Join us in the woods!
We're seeking warm, grounded, and nature-loving guides to help lead our outdoor enrichment programs for children ages 1–15. Our days are spent among trees, trails, and open skies — supporting children in play, exploration, and meaningful connection to the land.
About the Role:
As a Nature Guide, you’ll co-lead small groups of children in our rustic, nature-immersive programs. Whether singing with toddlers and their caregivers in the morning light or tending a fire with our older Fieldfolk crew, your role is to hold a safe, steady presence in the wild. You’ll facilitate nature-based play, help children engage with seasonal rhythms, and foster curiosity, courage, and care for the natural world.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:
-
Loves working outdoors in all weather
-
Has experience with children and/or outdoor education
-
Believes in child-led learning and respectful guidance
-
Can think on their feet and adapt to the moment
-
Is calm, grounded, and nurturing — a steady presence in the group
-
Is reliable and able to work consistent hours each week
-
Bonus: experience in nature skills (tracking, crafting, foraging, storytelling, etc.)
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
-
Co-guiding one or more weekly programs (ages 1–3, 4–7, or 8+)
-
Preparing and tidying simple materials (no screens or worksheets here!)
-
Supporting social-emotional learning and nature-based skill-building
-
Maintaining safety, warmth, and connection in the group
-
Helping to hold seasonal rhythms and daily routines outdoors
We Offer:
-
A deeply fulfilling role in a growing community
-
Training and mentorship in nature-based learning
-
Meaningful work rooted in land, connection, and childhood joy
-
A chance to slow down and live into the seasons — together
